WISH LIST

With today's glimpse of summer comes thoughts of dreamy outfit ensembles. The silk Margaret Howell pyjama's would be perfect holiday-daytime-attire, I imagine them worn with the Salt Water sandals - I've been thinking about them for a while now, I just need to bite the bullet and buy a pair. The COS leather clutch is just the thing I need for stuffing all my receipts and paperwork into and throwing in a tote bag.  I'm relatively new to the Korean brand Bread and butter - they have a good, neutral collection and some real inspirational styling.

MARGARET HOWELL MENS AW14

Menswear is something I get really excited about. I'm glad the time for London Collections: Men is here, Margaret Howell is one of my favourite brands so it was this show I was most looking forward to. I find her whole ethos one that I can really relate to, I share her passion for quality, skilled individuals, heritage and design. The aw14 collection is full of wool jumpers, heavy cotton shirts and trousers at the perfect length. Quality and design at it's best.

Simple Things

Simple things acquired on recent journeys. My pilgrimage to Margaret Howell's Wigmore Street store was marked with a navy blue cotton twill tote bag and a bright day by the sea brought me a large, old, leather wallet to treasure.

Margaret Howell + Sam Hecht

An old video my friend happened upon with Sam Hecht discussing his shirt collaboration with Margaret Howell. Hecht has designed many minimalist things for one of my all time favourite brands, Muji and I find his passion for the functionality of the garment inspiring.

[denim playsuit: topshop, leather sandals: zara, collared dress: asos, socks: margaret howell, strapless dress: COS, navy trousers: COS]

currently dreaming of more springlike weather, particularly so I can perhaps ditch the scarf in favour of socks and sandals.
