Modern Matter Issue 4: Made in USA

I picked up Modern Matter from my local bookstore, Village this week. It was cover girl, Chloe Sevigny that first caught my eye. Recent pictures are spliced with archive images from the Bernadette Corporation.  As well as being a brilliant read from start to finish, Modern Matter is a stunner too.

Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony FW13

One of the things I was most looking forward to from NYFW was news of Chloë Sevigny's next offerings for Opening Ceremony. It's no secret that I think she has THE most perfect style. The presentation was influenced by protest, Chloë sighting her inspiration as "the inhibition of youth, the follies and fashion of teenagers." The clothes have a strong 60's vibe and the collection features a collab with bodywear brand Emilio Cavallini and an appearance from skate label Vision Street Wear. Spot on.
